Independent Villa

Client Requirement

A multi-generational family in a large independent villa preparing for a renovation and wanting the finished home to be fully Vastu-aligned.

Existing Layout

The villa's north-west and south-east blocks were used interchangeably for storage and guest rooms, and the primary staircase rose from the centre of the home.

Vastu Observations

A centrally placed staircase disrupted the home's core zone, while storage and guest functions were mismatched against their most supportive directional zones.

Recommendations

• Reassign the south-east block to the kitchen and utility functions
• Convert the north-west block into the guest and social wing
• Introduce a light-well treatment to soften the central staircase's impact
• Landscape the north-east corner as an open, uncluttered zone
